The Associate of Science in Physical Therapist Assistant at South College is designed to equip you with the knowledge and training necessary to assist you with launching a successful career as a physical therapist assistant in as little as two years.

As a physical therapist assistant, you could work side-by-side with physical therapists in developing therapy plans for those recovering from a wide-range of illnesses or injuries that are affecting movement and quality of life. The South College program takes a holistic approach to education, offering a blended classroom and clinical learning environment. We work closely with the physical therapy community in ensuring our students are well-equipped to launch careers in fields such as acute care, rehabilitation, sports medicine, home health and more.

The South College Associate of Science in Physical Therapist Assistant program offered at the Knoxville and Nashville campuses is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) (1111 North Fairfax Street, Alexandria, VA 22314, 703-706-3245, www.capteonline.org).
